There is some great content from Buzz Doering. I loved the quote “Buy what appreciates, lease what depreciates!”
A famous quote by J. Paul Getty about the oil rigs in Texas in 1927. Thanks for sharing this Buzz.

Have a read at the article from Edmunds, great insight. There are the best lease deals ever out there. But what slated view of the leases that they show - only 11 leases and not one from a domestic company, No Ford, no Chevrolet, no Jeep, no Chrysler. Good advise Edmunds but I hope they open there eyes that there are great leases from Chevrolet.

$159 for the Cruze, $189 for the Malibu, $289 for the Equniox, $299 for the Traverse..... Not a mention.

Here is the Blog, let's hope we see more domestics in future from these "third party" sites:

The Edmunds.com data department has scanned the car-buying landscape and come up with a host of special lease deals that have payments that are less than $200 per month -- some as low as $149 per month. To see all the details go to our Incentives and Rebates page and look for the links that say "leases." Each of these links will take you to that car's lease-deal monthly payment, the term (number of months in the lease), down payment, security deposit (if any), the amount of miles allowed and any other restrictions. In the "Comments" section, you can see how much money is needed to start the lease.

The cost of starting a lease can usually be comfortably absorbed into most people's budgets because there isn't a high down payment or steep monthly payments. But in some cases, a lease will require a large down payment to make the monthly payments look more affordable. So when deciding which lease to take, look at total costs over the period of the lease. For details on the specific lease specials, please see the next page.

The following cars all have lease payments under $200. The deals on some of them, such as the New Beetle and the MINI Cooper, end Monday, August 2, so if you're really interested, it's time to get moving:

1.       Nissan Cube $179 a month for 39 months
2.       Honda Accord  $199 a month for 36 months
3.       Honda Fit $149 a month for 36 months
4.       Honda Civic $169 a month for 36 months
5.       Honda Insight $179 a month for 36 months
6.       Subaru Impreza $199 a month for 36 months
7.       Subaru Legacy $199 a month for 36 months
8.       New Beetle $199 a month for 36 months
9.       VW Jetta $199 a month for 36 months
10.     VW Golf $199 a month for 36 months
11.     MINI Cooper $199 a month for 39 months

Leasing makes it easier to get more car for less money with no trade-in hassles at the end of the term. But over a life time of car ownership, leasing will eventually be more expensive because you will always have a car payment but never own your car.
